Senior Lecturer, D.I.E.T. Post Graduate Degree with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university. 21 to 40 Years
Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology (Grade-2) Degree in Science with Physics or Mechanical Engineering as one of the subjects. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script is required. 21 to 40 Years
District Probation Officer Post Graduate Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Social Work, OR PG Diploma in any branch of Social Work, OR PG Degree in Women / Gender Studies from a recognized university. 21 to 40 Years
Food Safety Officer Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Sciences, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, OR Master's Degree in Chemistry, OR Degree in Medicine. 21 to 40 Years
Principal, Government Intermediate College (GIC) Post Graduate Degree with B.Ed. or recognized equivalent degree, and 3 years continuous teaching experience in High School/Intermediate or higher classes. Minimum Age: 30 Years
Maximum Age: 40 Years

Physical Standards

For police and administrative posts like Deputy SP, Superintendent of Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, Excise Inspector, and Deputy Jailor, candidates must meet the specified physical criteria:

  • Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP):
    • Male (General/OBC/SC): Height 165 cm, Chest 84 cm (unexpanded) / 89 cm (expanded).
    • Male (ST): Height 160 cm, Chest 79 cm (unexpanded) / 84 cm (expanded).
    • Female (General/OBC/SC): Height 152 cm, Chest: N/A, Minimum Weight 40 kg.
    • Female (ST): Height 147 cm, Chest: N/A, Minimum Weight 40 kg.
  • Excise Inspector: Height 167.6 cm (Male) / 152 cm (Female). Chest (Male) 81.2 cm (unexpanded).

UPPSC PCS Selection Process

The recruitment process will consist of three stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination: Objective type papers for screening candidates for the main exam.
  2. Main (Written) Examination: Descriptive written test for shortlisted candidates.
  3. Personality Test / Interview: Viva-voce test for final selection and post-preference allocation.

  1. Complete OTR Registration: Candidates must register on the UPPSC One Time Registration (OTR) portal: otr.pariksha.nic.in. An OTR number must be generated at least 72 hours before applying.
