The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the recruitment notification for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group C Phase-II posts under Advertisement No. 06/2026. This recruitment is open to candidates who have qualified in the HSSC CET Group-C Exam (Advt 01/2025). Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

  • 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent from a recognized education board or institution.
  • Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric (10th) or Higher Education.
  • Must qualify standard physical measurements and screening test.

Note: 5 Years age relaxation is applicable to DSC/OSC, BCA/BCB, and EWS categories of Haryana domicile candidates as per instructions.

Physical Standards & Physical Screening Test (PST)

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Requirements

  • Height (Male): 170 cm for General Category; 168 cm for Reserved Categories.
  • Height (Female): 158 cm for General Category; 156 cm for Reserved Categories.
  • Chest (Male only): 83 cm (Unexpanded) to 87 cm (Expanded) with minimum 4 cm expansion for General; 81 cm to 85 cm for Reserved.

2. Physical Screening Test (PST) Standards (Qualifying Nature)

Note: Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) or other reliable technologies will be used to ensure correct measurement of the physical screening test.

Written Exam Pattern & Selection Process

  • Eligibility: Candidates who qualified the HSSC CET Phase 1 (Group C) are eligible. Up to 10 times the number of posts will be called for the Phase 2 exam.
  • Exam Mode: Offline OMR-based written examination.
  • Language: Bilingual (English & Hindi).
  • Total Questions/Marks: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 100 Marks.
  • Time Duration: 1 Hour 45 Minutes (105 minutes).
  • Minimum Cut-off Marks: General Category: 50%, Reserved Category (both vertical & horizontal): 40%.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for wrong options. However, every question is compulsory and has 5 bubbles. If you do not wish to attempt a question, you must fill the fifth bubble. Leaving any question completely un-attempted/blank (no bubble filled) will result in a deduction of -1 mark per unattempted question.

Mandatory Documents to Upload

  1. Scanned copy of all educational certificates from Matriculation onwards.
  2. Latest scanned color photograph with a white background (date and name must be clearly printed on the photo).
  3. Scanned signature of the candidate.
  4. Haryana Bonafide Resident Certificate (if claiming reservation/concessions).
  5. Category Certificate (DSC/OSC, BCA/BCB, EWS, ESM, etc.) on valid prescribed formats, issued within the valid timeline.
  6. Undertaking as per Annexure V (Self-declaration/No-Government-Job status or details as required).

  2. Enter your CET Group C Phase 1 Registration Details to log in.
  3. Fill in your choices, verify your educational credentials, and update details.
  4. Upload high-quality scans of all mandatory documents, signature, and name-date printed photograph.
  5. No fee payment is required since there is zero application fee for all posts.
  6. Submit the application form and print a copy of the final confirmation receipt for your records.
  7. If any modifications are needed, use the correction/edit window from 01 July to 02 July 2026.

The age limit for Prison Warder (Male/Female) is 18 to 25 years. The age limit for Assistant Superintendent Jail (Male/Female) is 21 to 27 years. Domicile applicants of Haryana belonging to reserved categories (DSC/OSC, BCA/BCB, EWS) receive a 5-year upper age relaxation.

Only candidates who successfully qualified the HSSC Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group-C Phase 1 exam (under Advt. No. 01/2025) are eligible to participate and fill out the online application on the OTR Phase 2 portal.
